The pupils of our school implementing a 3 stage gardening project

 

1/Vege Gardens

2/Rongoa Gardens (Medicinal Plants)

3/Fruit tree Orchard

 

The purpose and vision of the gardens is to reconnect the children to papatuanuku and the gardening culture of our ancestors. To add to the students health and wellbeing. To raise there awareness and skills to the benefits of growing your own chemical spray Free food and fruit The benefit and content of your food you have grown.

The satisfaction and self worth the children will get out of establishing their own gardens
